Introducing the Blogmaster

My name is Rob Born, and I have resided with my wife and our bevy of animals on five acres in Greenbank since 2000. I retired as an attorney in 2014. I was a deputy district attorney in three counties in Oregon in my earlier years, and spent nine of my final years as a personal injury attorney in Freeland. I’ve also been the newspaper editor of a small-town weekly paper in the Colorado mountains.

In 2015 I ran unsuccessfully to become the hospital district’s board member for District 2. A bit prior to that I started up a blog that approximately weekly published 45 in-depth investigative articles about Whidbey General. Even without any of the supporting documents, that research in total was book-length – over 250 pages worth.

The hospital is in much worse shape than when I tried to help out before. If you didn’t, you should have voted for me then. Please pass the word around about the Whidbey Watchdog blog. There still might be time enough to save our hospital, though that’s a long shot at this point.
